Bickerstaffe Road Race

At last a satisfying race performance. Ok, the field containing Cat C riders was always going to be pushed along at a pace and yes a breakaway formed and went away from the main bunch.
That notwithstanding, I stayed with the bunch quite easily and as my first priority was to finish the race I was not tempted at all to initiate any attacking move.
The laps passed seemingly very quickly and suddenly only 2 to go.
Nobody decided to go long and on the final incline before the last turn into the finish straightaway I spinned up to the front 5. 
A good decision as a mistake by a rider behind me baulked many riders.
My sprint finish still needs some work!
