Tuesday 11th June Oulton Park Series (2)

The over 50s race was less crowded this week and for a change the course was run in the normal direction of clockwise. This did not cause too many dramas but the lack of the uphill section towards the finish meant for many more riders going for the sprint for 30th place and all that entails...  nothing!
It is surprising how much time is spent covering the brakes because the general riding is so unpredictable.

I am riding as though I have lost a bit of 'edge' and not having that feeling of control that I had earlier on in the season.
This indicates going slightly back to the drawing board and focussing on the TLI road championship event in September as a target to peak properly.
